August 16, 1998 - Van Cherone

Gary Cherone, formerly of Extreme replaced Sammy Hagar as the lead singer of Van Halen for a hot minute in the late 90s.

They played The PNC Bank Arts Center on August 16, 1998 and a number of us from Q104.3 were backstage for a meet and greet.  

The official shots featured about 15 of us with the band, but this one is special to me for one simple reason: it is the first picture I ever took at a concert.
