Ian Anderson of Jethro Tull, makes his first of a few appearances here.  Ian was going out on the road for the first time in a while and spent time with the new Q104.3 morning show, hosted by longtime New York rock host, Dan Neer.

This particular shot is interesting because of an off handed comment Ian said as I clicked the shutter.  He was referring to how he was able to continue to make a living playing music because he had “the right kind of money men.”  He then referred to the religion of his financial team.

We received a few letters and calls after the interview, but no one at the station believed Anderson to be mean spirited.  He would later refer to “accidentally offending some people…” a year or so later when interviewing with Ken Dashow.

As a bonus, below is Dan Neer, Ian Anderson and Dan’s Producer Shawn Kelly in front of the “Miraldi Step & Repeat."

Both picture shot with a Sony Digital camera that saved to a Floppy Disc.
