November 30, 2001: George Harrison's New York Memorial

The back half of 2001 was real rough.  Just a few months after the 9/11 attacks, we lost a Beatle.  My favorite Beatle, actually.

George passed on November 29 and the following day, hordes of fans gathered in Central Park, at John Lennon's Strawberry Fields to share grief in a communal way.
