I believe this was the end of the week of "Guest Host A Palooza", but Charlie Daniels could have finished the week.  I had a 50/50 shot reading my notes.

Deep Purple's Roger Glover would be one the artists that came by every six months or so, for a few years.  In fact later that year, he came by our First Annual Rock Marathon, high above a TGI Fridays in Times Square - twice.  He came in during the day and then came back at night.

I remember talking to Glover about the making of my favorite Deep Purple album, Made in Japan.
