April 30, 2001 - Ian Hunter & James Mastro

This one is cool for a few very personal reasons.  

First, legendary British rocker Ian Hunter stopped by to play and do an interview with Bob Buchmann on his morning show.  This picture was taken during the performance of "All The Young Dudes."

Second, and I didn't put this together for another ten years, Jim Mastro, the guitar player with Ian, owns a sweet guitar shop in Hoboken.  In November of 2011, while dealing with a particularly painful life event, I was nudged to chase a small dream and learn the bass guitar.  I bought my first bass from Jim and realized that I'd seen him somewhere before... outside Hoboken.  

Jim is a great session player and all around awesome guy.
